UED Policies
Access and Equity Policy
The purpose of this Policy is to provide a frame of reference in providing and maintaining training services that reflect fair and reasonable opportunity for all students, regardless of their diversity; allowing everyone to freely participate in the learning environment free from discrimination, harassment, bullying and vilification.
Assessment Policy
Providing quality training and assessment in accordance with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (SRTOs 2015). As such, UED is required to implement an assessment system that ensures assessments comply with the assessment requirements of national Training Packages and VET Accredited courses within it scope of registration.
Issuing Certification Policy
UED is committed to providing quality training and assessment in accordance with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (SRTOs 2015). As such, UED is required to issue and maintain AQF certification documentation and provide access to those documents to students.
Deferral, Suspension And Cancellation Policy
To provide a documented process for assessing, approving and recording a deferment of the commencement of study or the suspension of study for the overseas student, including keeping documentary evidence on the student’s file of the assessment of the application.

Overseas Student Health Cover Policy
All overseas students are required by law to have Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) prior to VISA approval. Students are to obtain this cover prior to entry into Australia and are to be covered from the day they arrive until the end of the issued Visa.

Privacy Policy
UED is committed to providing quality training and assessment in accordance with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (SRTOs 2015). As such, UED is required to comply with Federal law regarding Privacy and confidentiality of employees, students and contractors.
Progress, Completion and Attendance Policy
This policy provides a documented process for monitoring students’ academic progress and completions, with a view to ensure completion within the expected CoE duration and the consequent procedures for reporting to the relevant Immigration and Education departments of international students’ unsatisfactory performance.
Recognition and Credit Policy
The objective of the Recognition and Credit Transfer Policy is to ensure that an individual's prior learning achieved through formal and informal training, work experience or other life experiences is appropriately recognised. This policy and the corresponding procedure provide a process for assessing and recognition of prior learning and credit transfers and granting and recording of the subsequent course credits, whilst preserving the integrity of the award and complying with the underpinning requirements of the course/award to which it applies.
Refund Policy
This policy covers the refunds process for all fees payable for training services provided within UED’s scope of registration, in accordance with ESOS Act and the National Code.
Student Misconduct Policy
UED is committed to maintaining the highest level of education standards through the preservation of academic integrity. The purpose of this policy is to define academic and non-academic misconduct and to provide fair, equitable and effective approaches for investigating allegations of student misconduct and outline the potential consequences should an allegation be proven
Transfer of Provider Policy
The purpose of this policy is to ensure that overseas students wishing to transfer between registered training providers do so in accordance with The National Code of Practice for Registration Authorities and Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018, known as ‘the National Code 2018’ Standard 7
